To kick off the spring of '07 right the crew at AFF has decided to hold a fly fishing tournament based on a catch and release system. The tournament begins April 1, 2007 and ends October 31, 2007.

In order to qualify to win a prize you must become a member. To do this visit our "Join the American Flyfisherman" Page. Then when you think you have caught a fish (on the fly) worthy enough to win, please email us a picture of the fish with an accurate measurement. We will then upload your name and picture to our catch and release tournamnent link. To win, the fish must be successfully released.

SALTWATER

-First place winner for largest Striped Bass caught on the fly and released will win a new Echo Classic Fly Rod valued at over $140. (spey rods not included)

-First Place winner for largest False Albacore caught on the fly and released will also win a new Echo Classic Fly Rod valued at over $140. (spey rods not included)

-Runners Up for largest Striper & False Albacore will recieve new Airflo Fly Line or an Echo Fly Reel.

FRESHWATER

-First place winner for largest trout of any kind caught on the fly and released will win an Echo Classic Fly Rod for freshwater valued at over $140.

*Honorable mentions for non prize fish i.e. shark, tuna, sailfish, largemouth bass etc.
