Week of July 30, 2006 - Always remember to check for ticks. This may seem like something your mother might tell but at AFF we want to remind you too. The reason we are so passionate about this reminder is that we have had someone very close to us at AFF struggle 3rd Stage Lymes Disease. This person had lymes disease for several years before he even knew that he had it because of other medications disguising his symptoms. For those fisherman, hunters, and just people outside everyday watch for tall grasses and always check for ticks. Look in the warmest parts of your body because thats where they like to settle down.
