Week of March 19, 2007 - If you have the opportunity to fish with a guide this fishing season, GO! Recent AFF tips have commented on the importance of guide advice and that remains a good tip. Yet, having a guide really helps if you practice your casting. Guides call out positions of time on the clock to direct the casts of their customers. You must be quick yet calm. Practice quiet and coordinated footwork. The difference between shooting the line at 9:00 and 10:00 can be the difference between landing the big fish and having to unhappily strip in your line again.
