AFF Tip of the Week
Week of November 6, 2006 - When flyfishing or fishing in general, remain quiet. Footsteps, loud talking, dropped items or any significant noise can ruin a chance at a fish. Often times loud noises are caused by a fisherman who is not taking his or her time. Be patient, when rushing most fisherman end up much worse off with a birds nest of line and fleeing fish all around them because of vibrations sent through the water. It is something that comes with practice as always, but being aware of your surrounding is a very important skill for an angler. Fish are very intelligent, never doubt their potential to do extraordinary things. |
