Week of June 18, 2006 - For all the Striper and Bluefish fisherman out there: Remember to always watch for birds (Gulls, Turns, Cormorants etc.) swooping down after bait. The crew of AFF calls this event "birds workin' " which simply means that the bait (sand eels, bunker, manhaden) is on top. In all likelyhood and with any luck the Stripers will be there too.
